Over the break I plan on going hiking with a few of my friends. I got some new gear this summer and I just wanna let you know a little bit about it! My tent is a solo PCT 1 mountain hardware. The PCT 1 is a double walled backpacking tent for one person. This solo is a sleek canopy with great ventilation. It weighs a little more than 3 pounds and fits well in my Kelty 5600 pack. I also own a 5 degree mountain hardware mummy bag. My tent is appropriate for the hiking and climbing I will do this year, but the bag and pack are pretty intense and I don't plan on going on any 7-10 day trips in weather less than 20 degrees anytime soon!
