You get to pick the colors and pages, even type captions. Then they bind it and mail it to you! Very exciting. Great Christmas idea. And the best part is it is SOOO easy.

And if your just SICK...you can post your latest zit popping extravaganza! It seems like a very easy site to navigate and uses puss like colors. EWWWWW!

http://www.fellowshipchurch.com/ is a mega-church that has four locations in Texas and a location in Miami, Florida.
It uses a drop-down menu list at the bottom of the page that directs site viewers to each seperate church campus website. Each campus' site is laid out the same, except on the Miami site, there is an additional option for the Spanish Language viewers.
The site uses side navigation with several menu link options inside the side menu. There is a lot of information contained within the site, but the site's layout does an excellent job of not making the site viewer feel overwhelmed.
The site is very easy to use. Most all of the site's information is linked from the side menu bar. This keeps the site viewer on track and away from being lost in the site. The options from the home page are still available in a menu on each new page visited. This further keeps the site viewer on track within the site.
The site contains many pictures of the church and its activities. There are videos of past services that can be viewed as well.
The site's color scheme is mainly composed of a black background with white text on the main home page. Within the different pages of the site, a white background is mainly used along with different colors used in the different pages for each ministry portion of the church.
The primary audience of the website will most likely be people who have heard about this church and want to learn more about it. People in the Texas and Miami area will most likely be the ones who view this site. The church's service is also broadcast on television, so television viewers of the church's services may likely view the site as well.
The site, for the most part, fits its purpose. The site is easy to use, and it gives interested persons all of the information that they would want to know about the church.
Overall, the site is well laid out, and it caters to the needs of the site viewers very well.

This is a website for At Home in Arkansas magazine that I work for. This is their brand new site. I like the color choice they used and I think the layout works very well. It is very user friendly and there are lots of different aspects to look at within the magazine and other things they offer.

very fun and easy to look at! There is also some great photography to look at.

The Village Church

The Village Church website has a very easy and free moving web page that allows the person who is searching on it to have a good first impression on this church. I like how there is a navigation for the different ministries at the top. Then on the side its has to do more with the church as a whole. I like the design and color of the website and how it is laid out.

Crystalpalaceskatecenter.com is the website for the new skate center in Arkadelphia. Its bright colors would make any ADD kid happy. You can find all the programs and special events they offer on this site. It is easy to navigate with big navigation buttons. The only thing that could get confusing is the distracting images/ads throughout the homepage.

It is easy to find just what your looking for whether your single, married, an adult, youth or a different nationality etc. I especially like that there are entertainment reviews on the latest books, movies, etc.

The site is farily simple. It uses top navigation, and it mainly is just a site devoted to information about the church. There are many links on the site that tell about ways that individuals can get involved in the church.
Even thought it is a simple site, it has all of the information that is needed for the intent of the church.

The site contains information about the ministry and activities of the church. It contains top navigation with links to various other pages of information on the site about the church.
The site seems to be a little too cluttered. It distracts from the central message of the church and the site. There is just too much information in too small of an area.
The church is said to be the biggest in the country. The site should reflect this, but it doesn't from a web-based approach.

treehugger.com is a website devoted to going green. It has news releases and information on the environment and how you can help. The site is pretty basic with the focus on the information. I enjoy the website more because of the information than the design. The navigation is easy but overall the site is pretty busy and cluttered.

Phoenix Art Museum

This is the website of The Phoenix Art Museum. Here is a good example of css elements that we have been learning recently. There are lists and headers that have their own classes so they can be changed individually. The colors work well together, its simple to navigate through. They make good use of negative space to help un-crowd the elements of the page. Overall, it is a very well done site.

Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Blog

http://www.agfc.com/ is the official website of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. It contains information about the Commission and all of its purposes. These include all things involving hunting, fishing, conservation, and other wildlife activities.
The design layout is fairly simple, which makes it easier to navigate through the site.
It uses top navigation with the links coming up above the navigator instead of below it. This is for the purpose of not blocking any of the content in the area below.
All in all the site is a decent to good layout, and it is great at serving its purpose for its audience.
